I have come across a Web site that offers assistance with math homework and study for middle school and high school students. The Web site provides teacher recorded instructional content in a video animation directly aligned to the textbook. The Web site is http://www.nutshellmath.com . I encourage students and parents to consider use of this Web site. In addition, there are practice problems for students to prepare for quizzes and exams. There is a fee that allows use for the school year. The cost is $8.00 and I have to establish the class. If enough students are interested, I will do this. More information provided at Back-to-School nught. If you have questions, send me an email.
The following Web site provides video tutorials: http://www.brightstorm.com/ . The site provides video help for algebra through precalculus.
Note that video (multimedia clips, flash presentations, video segments) require DSL at a minimum, no dial-up.
